What to Expect

I support birthers and their partners in Western Massachusetts throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Here’s what you can expect from working with me:

Free Consultation

Before we decide to work together, I offer a free initial consultation — ideally in person, though video works too. It’s a chance for us to connect, ask questions, and make sure we’re the right fit for one another.

Prenatal Visits

Once booked, we’ll meet three times before your birth to explore topics such as:

  • Your hopes and wishes for your birth experience

  • Comfort measures and labor positions

  • Partner support and involvement

  • Basic birth education

  • Birth plan development and how to advocate for what you want

  • Infant care basics

  • Postpartum planning

  • …and anything else you’d like to discuss

Birth Support

I’ll be on call for you from roughly three weeks before your due date and will accompany you through your active labor and delivery, offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. In the unlikely event that I cannot attend your birth, a back up doula would be provided.

Postpartum Visit

After your birth, I’ll visit you at home for a postpartum session — a chance to reflect on your experience, check in on your recovery, and connect you with helpful community resources and supports.

Pricing

My full birth package is offered on a sliding scale of $1,500–$2,000, depending on your circumstances and needs.

I also accept MassHealth.

Because every family’s situation is different, I’m happy to discuss payment options and make this support as accessible as possible.
